About the Practitioner
Meet Monica Clark
Monica Clark is a Certified Equine Cranial Sacral Practitioner, Applied Kinesiology, Osteo, and Acupressure bodyworker devoted to supporting the well-being of horses. She has completed all classes under Integrated Equine Therapies and supports IET clinics in Placerville, CA as an IET Associate providing horse care, teaching and administrative assistance.
Passionate about working with the 'whole horse' and 'whole human,' Monica brings skill, presence, curiosity, technique, empathy and compassion to every interaction. With a background in coaching humans in self-alignment and nervous system regulation, she not only offers grounded, heart-centered support to the horses during her sessions but also to their humans.
Our Approach
Integrated Therapies for the Whole Horse
Cranial Sacral
Gentle structural balancing that supports the horse's central nervous system, releasing tension held deep in the craniosacral rhythm.
Applied Kinesiology
Muscle testing and energetic alignment to identify and address imbalances throughout the body's systems.
Osteopathic Bodywork
Structural and fascial release work that restores mobility, eases compensation patterns, and supports whole-body integration.
Acupressure
Meridian-based energy flow techniques drawn from Traditional Chinese Medicine, supporting the horse's vital energy and organ health.
"Monica's primary focus is the wellbeing of the equine — approached through bodywork, nervous system regulation, empathy, and intuitive communication."
Part of the equine sessions Monica provides can at times include coaching conversation with their humans if the horse 'calls' something out. Monica is respectful of the human's option to participate in dialogue or not.
